10th Assembly Inauguration: Abraham Jacob Congratulates Senator Karimi, Task Him To Do Everything Possible To Ensure Iluagba-Egbe Road Enjoys Federal Attention, Action
Following the inauguration of the 10th Assembly of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Hon. Jacob Abraham Damilare, a stalwart of the All Progressive Congress, felicitate with the senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District, Senator Steve Sunday Karimi on his journey for a progressive legislative business and national politics.
Abraham Jacob who is the youngest aide to Governor Yahaya Bello from Kogi West senatorial district, tasked the newly inaugurated legislator to kick the ball rolling by ensuring that the Iluagba-Mopa-Isanlu-Egbe road otherwise known as the Kabba-Ilorin road receives the federal attention it has long been deprived.
He said the importance of the road to both transport workers, farmers, roadside petty hawkers and the people of Yagba Federal Constituency can not be overemphasised.
“This road is one of the major reasons why Yagba People stood on a chant of Yagba Lokan believing that when a Yagba man becomes a senator, the road will enjoy a special voice and attention at the national level and as God will have it, he used Governor Yahaya Bello and the All Progressive Congress to make this 24 years dream come through.
“We are optimistic that you being an experienced legislator, you will not disappoint our hope in the matters of national interest. Hence, this road is one that has brought about untold economic setback to us in Yagba Land and Okun in general, and we hope that you will renew our hope in its rehabilitation to this effect by playing the necessary politics needed to be played.”
Again, the permanent board member, further charged the legislator to emulate the Governor Yahaya Bello’s pattern of youth and women inclusiveness in governance.
