NYCN EDO CENTRAL VICE CHAIRMAN COMMENDS EDO STATE GOVERNMENT FOR INTERACTING WITH YOUTHS, PRAISES NYCN CHAIRMAN FOR SHOWING CAPACITY
The Vice Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria in Edo Central Senatorial District, Comrade Charles Osagie has commended the government of Edo State for interacting closely with the youths of the state.
He stated this on the night of Monday June 12, 2023 in Benin City at a meeting of NYCN Esan Leaders which held few hours after the interactive session Governor Godwin Obaseki had with the youths from across the Edo’s 18LGAs and beyond.
According to him, Governor Obaseki’s leadership has provided young people with new hope and optimism for the future. “For a nation like Nigeria that is faced with numerous youth challenges, Obaseki’s headship in the state is a giant leap forward. “The youth said said”.
He further buttressed the outcome of the Governor’s interactive session with Edo Youths which held immediately after the inauguration of the newly elected state’s leadership of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), the apex youth organization in the country, the government is very efficient in dealing with youth problems that seemed to last forever.
In the same vein, the youths Vice Chairman showered econioum on Comrade Moses Agwinde Joseph, the Chairman NYCN Edo State for his show of capacity in the executing of a successful inauguration and interactive session with Governor Godwin Obaseki.
He expressed that having two events at two separate venues on the same day, yet with a large crowd of young people participating is indeed a great show of capacity and competence to prove that he can conveniently gather young people and give a them a good sense of direction. “If this was a regular entertainment show, it would have been tagged “Sold Out”, the Vice Chairman added.
Comrade Charles Osagie admonished the NYCN Edo Chairman to continue with the tempo he has started with and infact carry more and more stakeholders along during his tenure as Chairman.
Governor Obaseki was thereafter appealed to not to relent in his efforts in solving today’s societal problems as well as emerging ones, especially in the area of providing subventions to the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Edo State which houses several affiliate voluntary youth organizations.
