Mercy Abdullahi receives Community Honour

Frontline educationist and community service worker, Mercy Olajumoke Oluwayemisi Abdullahi has been nominated for Ekinrin-Adde Community Service Award.

This much, is contained in a letter of notice, signed by the community’s scribe, Elder Deinde Komolafe.
The award ceremony, according to the letter, will come up, June 23, 2023 at the Community’s Event Centre.

Mercy Abdullahi was born to the family of Elder Gabson Ologbonyo Olumoko and Late Deaconess Clara Bosede Olumoko.

She is a dedicated team player and a professional with a strong sense of self-motivation, who is committed to the ongoing progress in her community.

Mercy, a hard worker who places heavy emphasis on active listening, empathy, with a proactive attitude to service improvement and development is also skilled in Project Management; Grant Management and Administration.

Mercy Abdullahi has Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills with Strong Administrative and Results-Oriented Disposition.
She is Goal-Driven and Reliable; she has an undeniable Commitment to Teamwork, Ethics, and Integrity.

Oluwayemisi , as she is also known, has being Personal Assistant/Confidential Secretary to the National Coordinator of Federal CARES Support Unit of Nigeria COVID-19 Action Recovery and Economic Stimulus (NG-CARES) Programme, a poor and vulnerable intervention of the Nigeria Government sponsored by the World Bank since June 2021 to date

She was also Personal Assistant/Confidential Secretary, to the National Coordinator of the world Bank just completed Federal Project Support Unit, Community and Social Development Projects from April 2019 to May 2021

She was at different times, saddled with various roles at Federal Capital Universal Basic Education Board, Abuja. 2006 till March 2019; and at Funtaj International School Asokoro, Abuja. Aug. 2004 to Dec. 2005
She was Assistant Head Teacher at Primate Private Schools, Kuje, Abuja. Jan – Aug. 2004

She had her National Youth Service Corp at Bank road branch of First Bank Nigeria kaduna in 2002

in 2017 attended California State University, Chico- California U.S.A. and had a certificate as a TEA Fellow.

Bagged a masters degree certificate in 2014 from Curtin University, Perth Western Australia M(ed.) TESOL
