HON. OMOTAYO ADELEYE ISHAYA SIGNS THE CODE OF CONDUCT AT THE STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY
Kogi state house of assembly members-elect singed the code of conduct at the state house of assembly complex yesterday.
The member-elect representing Ijumu state constituency,Hon. Omotayo Adeleye Ishaya, signed the code of conduct at the state assembly complex appreciates the good people of ijumu constituency for the trust , love, and overwhelming support given to her at the last state house of assembly.
She promised to fulfill all the promises she made during the campaigns and bridge the gap between the leaders and followers. In her words; ” For the very first time a woman is representing Ijumu constituency at the state house of assembly, I would put in my best not to disappoint you all God help me.
She described her victory at the last state house of assembly election as a victory for all, God’s wish, people’s choice, and attestation that women deserves a better position in the society. She emphasised on women inclusiveness in government, stressing that when you have women in places that matters, society would grow faster than expected.
Lastly, she enjoyed the good people of ijumu constituency to join hands with the chairman of Ijumu Local government to enable him builds Ijumu of our dreams. She equally praised the new direction government of Alhaji Yahaya Bello, the Governor of Kogi state for the peace, Developmental strides, and growth recorded in all sectors of the state since the inception of this present administration in the state.
