Alhaji Momoh Jibrin is the immediate Accountant Genera of Kogi State. He is a trained and chartered Accountant with in-depth wealth of experience in the field of accounting and financial management.
He has great mastery in the use of relevant accounting softwares and technologies. His proven and novel techniques in the management of public finance have been adjudged impeccable. He is a prudent and articulate individual empathetic to humanity through humanitarian services. His problem solving and resulted oriented mindset has endeared him to many people.
He was born on 1st September, 1972 and acquired his primary and secondary educations from Obehira Community in Okene Local Government Area of Kogi State, Nigeria after which he proceeded to the prestigious Ahmodu Bello University (ABU), Zaria where he obatined a B.Sc in Accounting and graduated with good grade. He did his mandatory national youth service at Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) in Abuja upon graduation.
He has acquired other allied professional trainings such as Budgeting and Budgetary Control; Cost Control and Debt Management Workshop; Advance Training in Forensic Accounting; International Public Sector Accounting Standards; Essential of Budgeting and Organizational Finance; Advance Training in R12.X Oracle HR/Payroll Administration. Strategic Leadership Training amongst others.
He has scintillating career at Ajaokuta Steel Company Limited and Nigerian Ports Authority respectively where he grew through the ranks to become a Manager at NPA before his latest appointment as the Chief Superintendent of Kogi state’s treasury.
Alhaji Jibrin is a passionate person that is driven by societal sanity and community development. He is Young and viable, an astute administrator and he is a competent manager of human and material resources. Alhaji Jibrin is loyal and reliable, disciplined, diligent, modest and possesses high quality character standard.
He is a meek man with humourous appearance. He is a man of impeccable qualities; God fearing, a devoted Muslim who is amiable to people regardless of their age. He is compassionate, intelligent and he is dexterous in handling leadership related tasks with results oriented approach and a solution crackerjack.
He has stupendous penchant for charity work and he is magnanimous in lending helping hands to many others regardless of their region of origin and their mode of worship. He has many individuals on his scholarship program across the three senatorial districts of Kogi state.
