CHIEF DAVID SHOLA AIYEDOGBON (CHARVID) FELICITATES WITH CHRISTIAN FAITHFULS ON THE 2023 EASTER CELEBRATION
Chief David Shola Aiyedogbon felicitates with the people of Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency, Kogi State and the entire Nigeria on the occasion of the 2023 Easter celebration.
In a Goodwill message released by Azeez Abdullateef, Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to Chief David Shola Aiyedogbon, Charvid, said Jesus exemplified the virtues of love, selflessness and tolerance during His earthly ministry. He urged Christians to use the season as a period to reflect on their individual and collective roles towards promoting love, peace and sacrifice which are necessary for development.
Charvid called on the people of Nigeria to use the opportunity of being alive to continually strive to optimize our God given potentials to make life more meaningful for the less privileged.
Charvid also urged Christian faithfuls and indeed all Nigerians to fervently and unceasingly pray for peace and economic stability of our country.
He called on Christians to imbibe the virtues of forgiveness, selflessness and perseverance learnt during the 40 days of fasting and prayers and the significance of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, which Easter celebration teaches.
Charvid also called on Christians and Muslims to forge greater unity through prayers for national peace and stability,
saying that what unites us is far greater than that which seeks to divide us.
Charvid implored Nigerians to use the Easter period to praise God for the peaceful conduct of the last general election and pray fervently for peace, enduring stability in the country.
Charvid prayed for divine guidance for the administration of the incoming President-elect, Senator Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Charvid wished all Christians and Nigerians a happy Easter celebration!
