First Female Assembly Member elect in Kogi West Commend electoral process in Kogi state, appreciate Gov. Yahaya Bello for his maximum support and opportunity given to women in Kogi
The first female Assembly member elect in Kogi West, Ijumu Counstituency Kogi state, Hon Omotayo Ishaya Adeleye commend the electoral processes across Kogi West and Kogi state at large, she stated that in the just concluded election, people are allowed to vote their conscience in Kogi state, no voter apathy, no any casualty record and it was indeed a free and fair election.
She further appreciate the good people of Ijumu land for the previlage given to her to represent the Counstituency at the state level, she reinstated her commitment to the development of the State and the growth of Ijumu going forward.
She also extended her appreciation to the Executive Governor of Kogi state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for having a special space in his heart for Women across board, she offer her wholehearted prayers and promise to continue to offer her own qoata towards building a better Kogi.
She specially appreciate the Kogi State Algon Chairman, Alhaji Taofiq Isah for his numerous roles and guidance towards ensuring free and fair election in Ijumu, she eulogies the executive chairman for always being a supporter of women and commended Algon’s zeal that seek to always support every girl child. He’s indeed a true leader and supporter of women without descrimination, she said.
She also extended her appreciation to the Women’s wings across the state, from the First lady of the state, Hajia Rashida Bello, State Secretary General, Dr Mrs Folashade Arike Ayoade, APC Leadership from state to wards, Ijumu vice chairman, Ijumu elites and stakeholders, all Commissioners, to mention but a few for their unrelenting efforts towards the women’s wing and for their contribution.
She concluded by encouraging more Women in politics to participate in political activities without any fear. She promised to offer her unreserved commitment to building more women’s developmental policies and to further encourage girl child education across board.
