House of Assembly Election: KDU Resolve to work for the Victory of Hon. Seyi Bello
Says no room for Kabba Agenda.
Ahead of Saturday State Assembly Election, the Executive Chairman of kabba Bunu LG Hon. Moses Olorunleke and Cdr. Jerry Omodara, the state Security Adviser alongside other Party faithfuls met with Kabba Development Union Executive at the KDU Secretariat, the KDU Executive unanimously agreed to work for the victory of Hon. Seyi Bello on Saturday led by Engr. Emmanuel Ajibero.
The Executive Chairman in his speech Commended the KDU body for there tireless effort towards the development of Kabba Bunu. Reiterating the numerous advantage enjoyed from them.
The Council Chairman further enjoined people glamouring for Kabba Agenda to shun sentiments and anti party activities to face reality, adding that the two political offices been rotated by the two district is the Local Government Council Chairman and State House of Assembly, Said Kogi State House Assembly is for Bunu District Soon Council Chairman will be Zone to Kabba district, pleaded that politics. Shouldn’t be the reason why we will no longer see ourselves as one.
Cdr. Jerry Omodara in his speech said the move became necessary because of some group of persons trying to cause disunity among the united kabba Bunu LG. Noting that Kabba Development Union is a viable organ and respected association that is known for equity and justice.
Chief Funsho Olorunfemi noted that it is the turn of Bunu District to produce the next House of Assembly since kabba tenure will be expire come May 29, 2023, Said there is no where Owe agreed to have agenda, hence people should not listen to those using Owe name to curry favor from unsuspected member of the public, pointing out that there is a long existing rotational formula between Kabba and Bunu as that will helps to Foster unity within the two district.
Kabba Development Union President Engr Emmanuel Ajibero in his response urged the people to disregard what is being peddled as Owe Agenda noting that kabba Bunu has spend a good number of years at the State Assembly, Said it’s a Bunu turn for equity and fairness sake. And also promised to meet with his people to ensure that the needful is been done.
Similarly, the APC Stakeholders also presented Hon. Seyi Bello to Idogba Royal family of kabba where they pledged there unalloy support for the APC candidate on saturday.
