Kogi State House Assembly Election: Again, Melaye Splashes 1million each to the seven local government in kogi west
Towards the success of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) in the forthcoming State House of Assembly elections in Kogi State, Senator Dino Melaye in his magnanimity and solidarity to the party has again gifted 1 million Naira each to all the seven local government areas across Kogi west Senatorial District.
The former Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District, who is also the frontrunner for the PDP Kogi State Gubernatorial ticket had earlier supported the campaign of all PDP candidates for the State House of Assembly elections across the state with the sum of Five Hundred Thousand Naira (N500, 000) each.

Sen. Dino Melaye in his statement urged Kogites and party faithfuls not to be discouraged in the struggle to actualize the Nigeria and Kogi state of our dreams where the dividends of democracy and governmental benefits will be made even and accessible to all devoid social, tribal and religious class.
“we are at the verge to recover Kogi state from the political scavengers and power mongers that has forcefully taken our dear confluence state hostage, God willing, we will start with the state legislative and I’m confident in the victory of the PDP even at the gubernatorial”
He added by calling on stakeholders at all levels to ensure massive sensitization and mobilization of voters, protect the votes and endeavor to see that the votes count.
He also thanked party faithfuls and officials for their resilient and consistent support and loyalty to the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) over the years and especially in the just concluded Presidential and National Assembly elections.
