ALGON NATIONAL ORGANIZING SECRETARY CONDEMNED FORMER PRESIDENT OBASANJO’S DISPOSITION ON THE ONGOING COLLATION OF ELECTION RESULTS
The ALGON National Organizing Secretary and Kogi State ALGON Chairman,Hon. Taufiq Isa has condemned in strong terms the derogatory statements of Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, on the ongoing INEC collation of presidential results exercise in Abuja.

The Kogi State ALGON Chairman berated the statement credited to the former Nigerian President, he said, at the point when the Presidential election has been concluded and collation of results is ongoing,
General Obasanjo’s inflammatory statements is so unfortunate and a calculated attempt to truncate the hard earned Nigeria’s democratic system.
The same manner they truncated the 1993 general elections which was in favour of MKO Abiola.
A General in Nigerian Army who has fought so much for the unity of our country, ought to know that, truncating the electoral system at this critical point in time will results to anarchy, dictatorial form of government.
Hon. Taufiq said, we must appreciate the Progressive Governors in Nigeria, most especially the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alh. Yahaya Bello for ensuring that the peace and unity of our country is sustained by matching their words with actions in voting for Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu.
The Odokoro Prince charged all the ALGON Chairmen in Nigeria not to relent in their actions towards democratic sustainability.
