Kogi Education Commissioner distributes foods items in Kabba Bunu Communities to cushion hard times

The Kogi State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Hon Wemi Jones, FCIB today distributed foods items to women in Ayede community of Kabba Bunu LGA.
The Commissioner in his magnanimity and philanthropic way reached out to the good woman in Ayede said the distribution of the foods items is to cushion the hard times, occassioned by the naira redesign.
The Commissioner stated that at this critical time where there is scarcity of Naira where with monies saved in account are difficult to withdraw due to the new policy of the Central Bank of Nigeria, stated that the food items will cushion the effect of the hardship and the scarcity of Naira
He urged the people to see the donation as an intervention, with more to come in the coming days.
The distribution of the food items cut across all the families in Ayede, including the Tiv, Bassa, Ebira, Igbo and Hausa Communities.
Similarly, the Commissioner also reached out to the people in Okebukun Bunu, promised to continue to reach out to his people, insisting that they are his priority.
