Building of Palace, Karimi and others Support Okedayo Community
By Sunday Ajayi – Kabba
The candidates of the ruling All Progressive Congress for Kogi West Senatorial District, Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency and Kabba/Bunu State Constituency, Hon. Sunday Karimi, Matthew Kolawole and Seyi Bello respectively have made handsome donations towards the building of the Palace of Oba of Okedayo, His Royal Highness, Oba Martins Fanumi.
The donation was made yesterday during the visit of the APC Campaign train to Okedayo Community to woo prospective electorates in the area to vote for the party in next month’s general elections.
Hon Karimi said during his tenure as member of the House of Reps, he made sure he executed projects that can be seen in all the communities in Yagba Federal Constituency, promising to do more when elected as member of the Senate. He stressed that it will be out of place to promote someone who has failed woefully to another class.

He said it is a sign of failure for someone who has been in the House of Representatives for twelve years and yet the people he represented are still complaining of lack of potable water, solar street lights, access roads and other social amenities.
Addressing the people at the palace, Matthew Kolawole said the Constituency is missing a lot in terms of development because the current House of Reps member is not that of the APC. He appealed to the electorates to vote for all the candidates of the party from top to bottom for the area to enjoy maximum benefits of their votes.
He said since water has been one of the major challenges confronting the people, himself, Hon Karimi and Seyi Bello will find a lasting solution to the perennial shortage of water to the communities during the dry season.
However, donations were also made in Kakun and Aiyetoro Egunbe for the repair of their boreholes for the communities to access potable water.
