MR IMPACT MARKS PROJECT SMILE AGAIN 9TH EDITION AT ORPHANAGE HOME IN BENIN.
The 9th edition of an annual charity outreach tagged Project Smile Again, was marked with a visit to Eghosa Orphanage Home in the Gapiona Oko Central area, off Airport Road Benin City, yesterday December 26th, being Boxing Day. The project, birthed by Comrade Charles Osagie popularly called Mr Impact is usually held on November 26th since 2014 but this time due to the convener’s commitment in someother urgent activities the outreach was postponed till 2022 Boxing Day.

According to Mr Impact, he said PSA started nine years ago when he discovered his unflinching zest to build a future where the child from the street and less privileged folks has a vision equal to the dream of the child of affluence and stands equal chance of attainment.

From that moment Project Smile Again had visited schools, hospitals, streets, churches, orphanages and many other locations across Benin, Lagos, Lokoja, and Abuja putting smiles on the faces of the indigents and children of poorest of the poor in the society.
“Over the years, children’s school fees and hospital bills have been paid, food items, toiletries, soap, writing materials, drugs, clothes, foot wears, cash amongst others have been donated during the outreaches”. The convener added.
Mr Impact appreciated and commended the management of Eghosa Orphanage Home for making itself available to cater for the needs of the children. The home was also applauded for it’s serenity and conduciveness. And in response the matron specially thanked PSA team for coming to their home to shower love on the children during the yuletide. The children had earlier welcomed their guests with Christmas Hymns and prayers in appreciation of PSA’s visit.

Alongside with Comrade Charles Osagie, on the team of Project Smile Again 9th edition were the President of Society of St. Vincent De Paul, St. Matthew’s Parish, Comrade Fidelis Okhuegbe and his Secretary, Mrs Sandra Enabulele; CONGOs Director of Admin who’s a highly respected national leader of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Comrade Bartholomew Okoudo; Mrs Pat Okhuahesuyi who is also a member of CONGOs, Acting Edo State Commandant of the Royal Rangers Nigeria, Rev. James Obayuwana as well as two serial passionate volunteers of PSA Mr Aideyan Osahon and Mr Innocent Asiriuwa.
The convener thanked his entourage and encouraged others to see reaching out to the less privileged as a way of life. He also called for the support of well spirited individuals and organizations as well as prayed God to give him bigger platforms that will put him at an advantage position to celebrate a decade of Project Smile Again come November 26, 2023.
