DEPUTY GOVERNOR OF KOGI STATE CHIEF ONOJA INSPIRES PAAU STUDENTS AT ACADEMIC SYMPOSIUM
The deputy governor of Kogi state His Excellency, Deputy Governor, Chief Edward David Onoja graced the youth program Strategic Academic Mapping Symposium at the University’s Arts and Humanities Old Lecture Theatre with youthful style, he was accompanied by hon. Sunday Faleke the deputy chief of staff to the deputy governor.
The deputy governor in his speech, encouraged the final year students of Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU) to build good relationships with one other saying building good relationships will make you have more knowledge and skills, also aspire for academic excellence and pursue to be self reliant and believe in your maker The Almighty God.
He gave examples of his principal the present governor of Kogi state Ahija Yahaya Bello, on how they built on past healthy relationship.
Mr Alidu Ojonugbede Sam, who is the convener of this great youthful drive Strategic and Sustainable Academic Mapping (SSAM) 2.0, 2022 appreciated the Deputy Governor, Chief Edward David Onoja for his kind-hearted donation of the sum #500,000 towards the Academic Symposium.
He prayed that God will bless his good nature and grant him success in all he does. The theme for the second edition of the Symposium was LEARN, GO, BLAST, and it was full of great speakers from different works of life to inspire and motivate the students. The programme was also graced with the presence of the University Vice Chancellor, Prof. Marietu Tenuche and other staff from the management and the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.
