Hon. Leke Abejide, a member representing Yagba East, Yagba West and Mopamuro local governments on Tuesday flags off the construction of Alu, Igbo-Ero road in Kogi State for construction.
At the flag-off ceremony Hon. Abejide said this is the first time the road will undergo construction in many years, he opened the road by reading portions of the Holy Bible to sanctify the environment, the Alalu of Alu in attendance, HRH Oba Oladele Togun expressed his appreciation to God and Hon. Abejide as well.
“This is a testament that we are progressing as a people and Hon. Abejide is a blessing, I have 17 requests to the glory of God, and all have been attended to, the issue of this road has been a major concern to me. Thank God Almighty today we are here to flag off the road for construction. More so this road will help us to link to our neighbouring community Igboero at ease without difficulty and give easy transportation of our farm products”. He said.
Pastors and Iman in attendance anointed the road while they prayed for Hon. Leke Abejide, the people of Alu-Igboero, the completion of the work and for more projects across Yagba Federal Constituency.
In attendance, the Adetula of Ilai Oba Samuel Ibilaiye said he’s happy to be a part of this flag-off ceremony, he appreciated Hon. Leke for his giant stride and for focusing majorly on roads assuring him of continued support.
“It is no longer news that the representation of Hon. Leke Abejide is breaking ground toward the repositioning of roads and infrastructure in Yagba we will support him to achieve more.
Hon. Leke Abejide stated during the official flag-off, said that part of his plans is to see many roads networks in Yagba is in a good state.
” We have other roads in Yagba earmarked for construction, we will continue to expand the road networks in Yagba and make sure we have good roads.
