Hon. Olusola Kilani Olumo, member of the state house of assembly representing the good people of Ijumu has felicitated with the Christian faithful across his constituency over the easter celebration. He however admonished people of both religions to be law-abiding, pray for their leaders and community and be hopeful because better days are ahead.
Kilani in a statement made available through Mr Lanre Obalaja, his senior legislative aide, said that remembering the reason for the crucifixion of Christ and how he rose again should be a huge lesson that there will be a total turnaround soon.
He also said that this Easter celebration is special because it falls within the holy month of fasting for the Muslim faithful too. Kilani assured all, that they will soon start feeling more of the positive impacts of Governor Yahaya Bello in his poise to transform Kogi State.
Kilani encouraged Kogites to pray and work assiduously, for the state governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello so that he can win the APC presidential ticket and also become the president of Nigeria come 2023; a feat no one has achieved in the north-central.
