He never underestimates the value of building relationships with each other, with staff, with the community, and with the greater constituency. His vast investment of time and energy on the front end will save us phenomenal volatile angst on the back end which will create sound governance as he wishes everyone to accomplish understandable policy in favor of our constituency.
*He is a team player*. He understands a healthy political body is expected to work together as a team. His philosophy is to consult and work with an effective team player necessary to endorse him but stay curious and open-minded about their stance. His ideal is to constructively work with others without dominating the flow of information or ideas, deliberate and vote as individuals, but then respect and support the decision of the majority by setting aside personal interests and influences for the mutual good of our constituency.
He is emotionally mature. This is required of him to make decisions in the best interests of the constituency – despite opposition – he is ready to tolerate criticism by staying committed to the mandate of his people, welcoming disagreement, and not over-reacting to it, by coping with the intense emotions of others.
He is approachable. This has been illustrated during his consultations, that he acquires amazing listening skills to others to discern their interests, ideas, and standpoints. When elected, he pledges to be available to his constituents through meetings and events, and by phone and email. He will be committed to open, distinct, and traditional communication with his people.
He is a critical thinker. Since Oluwafemi Olumeyan Olusco ripened with us, he understands how to best limit shifting a problem into the future by maintaining a long-term perspective and considering the potential impact of all decisions discomforting his people by assessing their numerous challenges over the years.
He is prepared. He is mentally prepared to make decisions about the long-term sustainability of our constituency. He believes when elected, he will not only attend meetings but, be productive and dedicated to doing required tasks. He is prepared to partake in dialogues by researching and examining environmental substances before attending meetings, sessions, and committees.
