KOGI STATE DEPUTY GOVERNOR TO LEAD ECONOMIC AND INVESTMENT DELEGATION TO THE STATE OF DELAWARE USA
Sequel to the visit of Delaware delegation from Delaware Africa Caribbean coalition(DACC) in partnership with world trade centre delaware to Kogi state earlier in the year, on the invitation of His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello to discuss and subsequently cement a developmental partnership between the Kogi State Government, Government of Delaware and Delaware Africa Caribbean coalition. As expected, the earlier visit and discussion held, has actuated the need by the Kogi State Government delegation to embark on a trip to Delaware, USA tomorrow.
The visit is premised on the formal invitation by the Lieutenant Governor, State of Delaware, Bethany A. HALL-LONG, PhD, RNC, FAAN, which is to further fine tune discussion and possible partnership in the area of trade opportunities between the confluence state, Delaware State and DACC. As lined up, the delegation is expected to meet the expanded members of DACC, business leaders in the areas of Health, Education, Agriculture, Youth Enterpreneurship & Empowerment and other explorable sectors. Such meeting will provide an ample opportunity for the delegation to meet and discuss critical development issues with Africans in diaspora and investors to promote shared interest that will be most beneficial to the state.
The high powered delegation is led by the Deputy Governor, Chief Edward David Onoja and the summit/ meeting is scheduled to run from Novemeber 14th-20th 2021.
