Hon. Taufiq Temporarily Fix Iyamoye-Ekiti Road
The Executive Chairman of Ijumu Local Government Council and Kogi State ALGON Chairman,Hon. Taufiq Isa has once again temporarily fix Iyamoye-Ekiti Road to alleviate sufferings of motorists plying the road for the past few weeks as a result of its deplorable condition.
The Council Chairman said the heavy traffic was as a result of heavy duty vehicles, especially trailers plying the road as a result of blockage at Ayere-Ajowa road.
Recall,The Executive Chairman temporarily fix Ikoyi-Omuo road last month.
Hon. Taufiq called on the Federal Government and its road agencies, critical stakeholders to give maximum attention to the road. He said he will continue to give attention to all roads linking Ijumu Local Government, despite the dwindling resources from the Federal Government.
