Hon. Korede Pedro Empowers 250 Pupils/Students of Ayetoro/Agrigbon Oke Ward in Ijumu Local Government Area
The Councilor representing Ayetoro/Agrigbon Oke Ward 2 in Ijumu Local Government Area,Hon. Korede Pedro has empowered two hundred and fifty (250) pupils/students across the public schools in her ward as part of her 2021 constituency project.
Speaking at the event which was held at the Ayetoro Gbede town hall,The councilor said she decided to give back to her constituents because at this point in time what she could think of is supporting pupils/students in their educational career.
According to her,she is always overwhelmed by the way her father,boss and the Executive Chairman of Ijumu Local Government Council,Hon. Taufiq Isa used to reach out to the less privileged, irrespective of where the person come from.
She said despite the currently situation,she has decided to give them sandals, school uniforms, exercise books and payment of school fees in her own little way of supporting the society.
Hon. Korede also called on the people of Ijumu Local Government and Kogi State to continue to support and cooperate with the leadership of the duo. She also urged citizens and residents of the Local Government and the State to pray for the overall succes of Hon. Taufiq Isa and Governor Yahaya Bello to take the area and State to another level of development.
