The National Association of Kogi state students(NAKOSS NATIONAL) under the watch of Comr. Racheal Mojirola Balogun paid a courtesy visit to the NAKOSS ABU CHAPTER to discuss how insecurity is affecting the educational development in Nigeria.
While speaking at the event, she charges the students on the need to leverage on the fact that they’re schooling in diaspora and project Kogi state to every students on campus, be a good ambassador of kogi state anywhere you find yourself, she opined.
She also make an analogy on the need to look in to Kogi policy of curbing insecurity and if such measure is being put in place in Nigeria the issue of Insecurity in Nigeria won’t be the major problem of the country.
“Special appreciation to the executive Governor of Kogi state for providing enabling environment for students, and the good people of Kogi state, in Kogi today, we have uninterrupted academic calendar, flexible study curriculum, no hike in schools and all tution fees are been normalize to the bearest minimum that can be easily afforded. She emphasize”.
She also advised Kogi state Student in Ahmodu Bello University Zaria, to see politics as a tool to be used in projecting one another, and their unity will speak volume in their political results, never to see politics as a competition amidst themselves but as a way of helping the country and advice woman to take up political positions anywhere they find themselves inorder to boost the development of any associations, state or country.
Hence, they should work in love and unity to take the association to a greater heights.
In addition, she also emphasis on the need to shun any unwanted act that will affect the country and pleaded with the Federal government to do something about the insecurity challenge, as it’s affecting the educational system and development of the country at large.
Meanwhile, she was given an award of excellence as an ICON OF HUMAN CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT. The union also appreciated her effort and services to humanity and the youth development in Kogi state.
The National President of the association appreciated the union for a job well done and urges them to continue to be good ambassadors of Kogi state and offer her prayers to see Kogi state student leading all segments in the institutions.
she also promise to assist the association whenever the need arise and gave advise on the need to embrace kogi state project,
“if Student can make a mark in history in the United State of America by producing Barrack Obama as the USA president, Kogi State students would not hesitate to be part of a landmark in Nigeria, Governor Yahaya Bello is our Open Cheque in Nigeria, his emergence as the number one citizen of this country is in our hands as youths and students.
Preach this to your counterparts across your various departments, faculties, religious and social gathering on the campus.
22million registerd students in Nigeria can produce a president of their generation, kogi State Students should take the lead anywhere they are across the federation because he is a product of our own” she advised.
