Kogi state of Assembly Confirms Nomination of Justice Richard Olorunfemi as Chief Judge of the State – GBAMSBLOG

Kogi State House of Assembly has confirmed the nomination of the appointment of Justice Richard Olorunfemi as the substantive Chief Judge of the State.

The Chief Judge was confirmed after the Chairman House Committee on Judiciary, Justice and Protocol, Cosmos Atabor moved a motion that he should be allowed to take a bow and leave having found him worthy for the assignment,this followed the screening of Justice Olorunfemi on Wednesday at the committee of the whole at the Assembly Complex Lokoja.

 Likewise, Isaika Momoh-Jimoh has been screened and confirmed as the substantive President, Kogi State Customary Court of Appeal.

The House also made firm the nomination of Mr. George Funsho Ojo as permanent member, Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission.

Mr. Ojo moved into the position of  former Chairman of Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area, Mr. Emmanuel Funsho who was sacked for actus reus.

The Speaker, Prince Matthew Kolawole charged the appointees to see their elevation as a call to serve the State meritoriously, encourag them to justify the confidence entrusted in them.
