Kogi State Government to complete the Kogi State College of Education (Technical), Kabba permanent site – GBAMSBLOG
Hon. Kilani Olushola Olumo of Ijumu Constituency Moved a motion in the meeting to complete the Kogi State College of Education (Technical), Kabba permanent site.
He plead with this honorable House to help appeal to the Kogi State Government to urgently construct the road leading to the permanent site of the college as erosion has taken over the road.
Hon. Kilani Olushola also appeal to Kogi State Government to urgently construct the perimeter fence of the College so as to secure the school’s land and the occupants of the school.
He also added, Since the infrastructure of the permanent site is about 70% completed, the State Government should urgently help to finish the uncompleted structures on the permanent site; so that it will be available for use.
Seconding the motion, Chairman, House Commitee on Education, Hon. Edoko Ododo Moses noted that going on oversight function to the College’s premises, the facilities indeed needed to be completed so as to provide a more conducive atmosphere and learning facilities for the technical students.
Supporting the motion, Hon. Oke Moses Akande of Ogori Mangogo Constituency noted that the terrain of the school must be quickly developed so as to forestall recent unfortunate insecurities development. He also appreciated the effort of the Provost, Mrs. Jagboro Victoria.
The Speaker while ruling, noted an additional prayer, that the House Committee visit TETFUND, and also that the House Committee on Works visit the State’s Commissioner for Finance and Commission for Works and Housing for update on the already awarded road leading to the School.
