Iluafon-Illah-Iluke Electricity Project: BDA set up Implementation Committee
In respect to the above subject matter, Bunu Development Association in conjunction with the beneficiary Communities met today Sunday 29th, August 2021 at Illah Bunu to chat the way forward.
The executive president Pst. Johnson Kolawole thank the community representatives present as well as the Oba of Illah for their various efforts in realising this project despite the hard times we are in, he encouraged communities yet to fulfil their own quota to do that in good time. He is optimistic that the project will be completed in no distant time.
The Treasurer Dr. Joseph Enimola gave a run down of the total money realised put at Two Million,Two Hundred and Five Thousand, Two Hundred and Fifty Naira (#2,205, 250).
An Implementation Committee comprising of a representative from the beneficiary Communities and two members of the BDA National Executive was constituted to swing into action carring the Kabba Bunu local Government chairman, Hon. Moses Olorunleke along in fixing the electricity. The Committee Members are as follow:

* Dcn. Daniel Omodamori (Secretary)
* Engr. Paul Obaronbi
* Mr. Samuel Oloruntoba
* Hon. S.k Obadofin
* Elder Isreal Obadofin
* Elder E.B Medubi
* Dr. Joseph Enimola
The Committee was given a month to complete the project. The National President appreciated everyone who has donated towards the project. In his words ” records will have it that our donors are part of Bunu Development and has written their names in the sands of time”
The association is calling on individuals to support the project by donating handsomely as a deficit of over a million naira is still on ground.
The meeting was brought to a close by innaugrating the Committee.
Paticipants expressing their joy with BDA took turn to offer prayers for the Association as well as the innaugrated Committee. The Oba of Illah Bunu was not left out. God bless Bunu land.
