NAKOSS ’21: Sons And Daughters Of Yagba Fed’ Constituency(Apapo Omo Yagba) Speaks In Unity, Present Abraham Jacob As Sole Candidate.

Ahead of the forthcoming election of National Association of Kogi State Students, NAKOSS National, Sons and Daughters of Yagba Federal Constituency under the aegis of “Apapo Omo Yagba” which set up a committee to harmonise the three Presidential aspirants from Yagba Federal Constituency and come up with a consensus candidate, has recorded an epochal success as Comrade Ayodele Alabi from Yagba West Local Government and Comrade Ibikunle Olajide from Yagba East Local Government reached a consensus to support Comrade Jacob Abraham Damilare from Mopamuro LGA as the sole candidate to contest the National President of NAKOSS National from Yagba Federal Constituency.
Apapo Omo Yagba has gathered from all stakeholders of the Association that there is an already existing Rotational Arrangements amongst the three Federal Constituencies; Yagba, Kabba-Bunu Ijumu and Lokoja-Kotor, in Kogi West Senatorial District on the position of the President of the valued Association and as it stands, Yagba Federal Constituency is to by this Rotational Arrangement, produce the next National President of the Association.
This Rotational/Zoning Arrangement according to the NAKOSS Stakeholders of Kogi West Senatorial District, has been one of the major tools in maintaining, fostering and sustaining Peace, Unity, Equity, Justice and fairness amongst the three Federal Constituencies in the District and building on it will also go a long way in keeping us together as a people giving equal participation to each Constituency.
Yagba sons and daughters has expressed consciousness and concerns to the situation which concerns the Association and knowing that it is now the time of her Federal Constituency to produce the next President since 2007 that the Presidency came to the Constituency, Apapo omo Yagba have decided to speak with one voice by fielding a single candidate for this position.
The harmonization process which became easy through the conscious submission of Comrade Olajide Ibikunle and Comr. Alabi Ayodele to work together with Comr. Abraham Jacob as the sole candidate from Yagba Federal Constituency, has in a very good way sent a strong message to the older generations on the need to work together as a people. These young men have passed a strong message which will stand the test of time.
Now that sons and daughters of Yagba Federal Constituency have been able to harmonise interest to a sole candidate for a common goal as a people, it is now calling on those concerned to allow Peace, Love, Unity Equity Justice and fairness reign in the District without impossing contrary opinions against the obvious popular demands.
Apapo omo Yagba extends special regards to one of the NAKOSS National Presidential candidates Comr. Lawrence Fanope from Kabba-Bunu LGA, Kabba-Bunu Ijumu Federal Constituency who stepped down from the race to weigh support behind Yagba Federal Constituency for the purpose of respecting the zoning arrangements and also fostering the unity of our people in Okun Land. This act is a testament that we are building a generation that is not desperate and selfish to lead but passionate about the Unity and Peace of its people.
Apapo Omo Yagba sends greetings to all concerned stakeholders of NAKOSS from Kogi West who have come out to give a transparent analysis on the occasion which bathed the Rotational Arrangements amongst the three Federal Constituencies and who have towed the path of truth by standing firmly with the truth.
As small as this NAKOSS NATIONAL PRESIDENT may appear to some persons, Apapo Omo Yagba is really concerned and interested in it as a people because it is one of those things that will continue to define our unity of purpose as a people and as a Federal Constituency.
