Eid-El- Kabir: Kogi SSG Congratulates Muslim Umah, Calls For Prayers For Buhari, Bello

The Secretary to the Government of Kogi State(SSG), Dr. Mrs Ayoade Folashade Arike, has sent greetings to Muslim Faithfuls on the occasion of this year’s Eid-El-Kabir celebration, describing the festival as a season of sacrificial living, giving, connection with our creator and one of the periods to pray to God for Peace, Growth and Development of our dear State and county; Kogi and Nigeria. 
“This Sallah Season is one of the periods where sacrificial living must be put into practice; where love, oneness and unity must abound amongst humans. This act is one that pleases the heart of God and provokes him to reign down more grace upon his creatures. Therefore, the teachings of the Holy Quran must be acted upon at every point in time”.
She called for prayers for the APC led Administration of President Muhammadu Buhari in the country and the Governor Yahaya Bello’s New Direction Administration of Kogi State, stating that with the continuous guidance and wisdom of God being bestowed upon them as our leaders respectively, our dear country and State will continue to enjoy the dividends of democracy without sentiments. 
Ayoade implored Muslim Faithfuls to continue praying for sustainable peace and unity in the country whilst she emphasised on the need for everyone to be conscious of their gathering at this period of celebration, noting that self vigilance is never a misplacement in the fight against insecurity. 
“While the Celebration last, endeavor to report to the appropriate quarters any suspicious activities that is likely to be of threat to security of lives and properties”.
The SSG further pray that God almighty continue to grant to his people their heart desires as it pleases him.
