KOGI WEST SPECIAL PUBLIC WORK PARTICIPANTS COMMENCED SMEs TRAINING IN KABBA BUNU LG

The Executive Chairman of Kabba Bunu LG Hon. Moses Olorunleke Received the National Directorate of Employment NDE Kogi State led by the State Coordinator Alhaji Abubakar Zekeri for the official Commencement of the two days Basic Business Training (BBT) Workshop for ESPW Participants.
The training was to expose the Beneficiaries to the rudiments of identifying and running Micro and Small enterprises (MSEs) which will enable the participants acquire relevant skills to enable them identify and manage SMEs of their Own.
The Vice Chairman Hon. Mrs Alfred Bimpe, while Speaking on behalf of the Executive Chairman at the training ground, commended the efforts of both federal and State Governments for the initiative which he said the programme have engaged women and youth in the Society, Stated that 70% of the Beneficiaries have not receive their Stipent urged the State Coordinator to find a lasting solution to the non payment of there Stipent.
The State Coordinator of NDE, Alhaji Abubakar Zekeri expressed delight in president Buhari’s leadership for deeming it fit to introduce poverty alleviation initiative, aimed at curbing youth relativeness and reduction in unemployment. He thank the Governor of Kogi State, H.E Alhaji Yahaya Bello for keying into the programme and for giving the directorate all the necessary support and encouragement. He further described the reception by the Executive Chairman of Kabba Bunu LG as scitillating.
In there brief remarks, the Director of Local Government, Mr Alefemi Emmanuel and Local Government Desk Officer of the programme hailed SPW programme, describing it as a boost to what is being done at the grassroot by the Executive Chairman in the area of Women and Youth Empowerment.
Present at the Occasion include the Vice Chairman, Hon. Mrs Alfred Bimpe, Local Government Secretary, Hon. Olowosegun Raymond Ayomide, the Federal Monitoring team led by the State Coordinator Alhaji Abubakar Zekeri, the Supervisors and the SSAs.
