A Nigerian undergraduate identified as Malachy Chizoba went viral on social media after making the most of his matriculation gown which he rented with N5000.

He shared photos of himself using the matriculation gown to cook as well as sleep in his house. According to him, he cannot rent the gown for that amount and return it on the same day.

”How can I rent a gown of 5k for matriculation day and you expect me to return it the same day. impossible” he wrote

Meanwhile, an undergraduate student of Imo State University (IMSU) identified as Kingsley Chiwueze, who was declared missing, has been discovered dead after five days.

Kingsley Chiwueze, a 300-level law student, was declared missing on Monday, April 26 after he could not be reached on the phone and his whereabouts remained unknown.

Chuwueze who is a native of Oguta Local Government Area of the state was involved in student union politics and two weeks ago announced his intention to run for the office of Senate President of the National Association of Imo State Students.

The President of the Students Union Government of IMSU, Arinze Oguike, who confirmed the development on Sunday, May 2nd, announced that the corpse of the law undergraduate was found in the morgue of Umuguma General Hospital, Owerri.

He stated that some students stormed the morgue and the attendant told them that the body had reportedly been deposited by the management of a private hospital in Owerri.

The student leader said, “The attendant told us that his corpse was brought by people from a private hospital on Whetheral Road. We will go to the hospital to find out how they took custody of the student’s corpse.”

In other news, a Nigerian student, Toluwalase Kembi has been confirmed dead after being killed by the man she was seeing in the Ikorodu area of Lagos state.

Toluwalase is said to be a 20-year-old Business Administration student of the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, Ogun State.

The deceased who was declared missing weeks ago had gone to cook for one Owolabi Yusuf who is reportedly an alfa and also her side piece. However unknown to the student who is engaged to another man, Yusuf had been paid N2million to kill her for ritual. (Continue reading)
