PRESIDENCY 2023: KABBA/BUNU LG STAKEHOLDERS ASK BELLO TO RUN, PROMISED TO PURCHASE NOMINATION FORM

 Ahead of 2023 Presidential election and in view of the growing demand for the Governor of KogiState, Alh Yahaya Bello to contest, Kabba Bunu LG  Stakeholders and Members under the aegis of the KABBA/BUNU STAKEHOLDERS AND LEADERS of the All Progressives Congress and entire people of the  LGA declared and made a unanimous demand for the Governor to contest as the next president of Nigeria, and promised to purchase Nomination form for the Governor 

Speakers after speakers paid glowing commendation to the Governor over what they called unassailable performance in security, youth/women Inclusiveness in governance, ethnic balancing and Healthcare development. The convener of the endorsement rally and  the Executive Chairman of Kabba Bunu LGA, Hon Moses Olorunleke in his Speech described his principal as a leader per excellence, competent, energetic, detribalised, progressive and courageous. He noted that such qualities possessed by Governor Yahaya Bello would assist in taking the country away from the current security and economic problem facing the country if elected as the president of Nigeria come 2023. Urging every one to keep whatsoever position they are aspiring for aside and unite for the task ahead. He noted that Yahaya Bello’s ambition is very Paramount to the good people of Kabba Bunu LG.

The Hon. Commissioner of Education, Science and Technology, Hon Wemi Jones in his speech described Governor Yahaya Bello as a detribalised Nigerian who has repositioned Kogi State and would make Nigeria a great nation if he becomes the president, he noted that if there’s any performing Governor in Nigeria today, it is Yahaya Bello. He has made Kogi State one of the safest places in Nigeria. Kogi State used to be home of Kidnappers but as we speak now with the intelligences and hardwork, it has turned to a thing of the past.

The Special Adviser to the Executive Governor of Kogi State on Civil Service and Labour Matters, Hon. Bode Adeyemi aka Omoluabi mentioned that the governor of Kogi State has shown the needed qualities to lead the country come 2023, therefore calling on all Nigerian citizens to joins hand in birthing a new Nigeria that will guarantee the needed security and economic growth. He said whatever arrangement that has made North Central the only zone yet to Produce an elected President since 1960 is the height of injustice, inequality and must be corrected for the unity of Nigeria. The Special Adviser noted that the Yahaya Bello Presidential Demand is to right the wrong done against the zone.

The APC party Chairman Kabba Bunu LG, Hon. Olorunmosunle Elisha’s enjoin all the good people of Kabba Bunu and Nigeria as a whole to support Governor Yahaya Bello, noted that the country needed a leader with charisma and quality that will unite the nation across ethnic and religious lines.

Kabba Bunu LG legislative Council led by the Deputy council leader, Hon. Smart Adekunle therefore demanded the people to endorse all demands through a voice vote and the delegation unanimously declared and endorsed Governor Yahaya Bello the presidential candidate for the All Progressive Congress (APC) in 2023.

Present at the declaration was the Executive Chairman of the LGA, Hon Moses Olorunleke, Commissioner for Education, Science and technology, Hon Wemi Jones, Special Adviser to the Governor on Civil Service and Labour Matters, Hon Olabode Adeyemi, Federal board member, Hon Jethro Funsho Oni, former LGA Chairman, Hon Emmanuel Olorunfemi, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth and Women, Hon Segun Olobatoke, representatives of National Union of Roads Transport Workers, Market Women Association, Youth Council, Okada Riders Association, elected councillors from the LGA and several other stakeholders.
