REJOINDER
The student Union Government (SUG), on behalf of all the student in the citadel of learning kogi state college of education (T) kabba wish to dissociate itself from the misleading publication circulated via media, ( Anomalies being perpetrated at kogi state college of education technical kabba).
We are strongly in support of the leadership style of our amiable provost, and the newly appointed management staff.
Mama, as we fondly called, is a mother figure in all sphere of life, a selfless and workaholic provost, who stops at nothing to make sure the college is truly a citadel of higher learning.
It is of great important to note that the immediate past Acting management team/ officers enjoyed great working relationship with the provost and as a matter of fact she actually wanted them to continue serving, but zoning arrangement and for the fact that His Excellency , Alhaji Yahaya Bello quest for fair and equitable sharing of appointments in the state since inception, prevented the provost from actualising her dream of bringing back the immediate past Acting management
More also, facts cannot be covered, The provost has done considerably well for the college. among many of her achievements inter Alia
1 ultra modern 250 seated capacity lecture Hall and 350 seater at the permanent site
2 ultra modern e-libray at the permanent site
3 ultra modern computer ICT at the permanent site
4 ultra modern Business education laboratory at the permanent site
5 student and staff state of art dignity building at the permanent site
6 Internationally and nationally adjudged state of art CBT center name H.E Hajiya Rasidat Yahaya Bello CBT center operating at full capacity.
7 The provost has made it a point of duty to always make electricity and water available at the students hostels. The permanently stationed 6.5 KVA generators at the hostels, attest to this fact.
8 To make sure the college community does not experience darkness, the provost has repaired and put to the various solar- powered lights at different points in the college.
9 Despite the fact, that the college has well over fifteen 6.5 KVA working Generators, the Provost also make it a point of duty to offset ADEC bills on monthly basis, with no backlog.
10 In her quest for good health service delivery not only to the college staff and students but also the entire communities sure the college, she negotiated for a qualified medical Doctor, in addition to her qualified medical personal yo give the entire college community access to health care.
11. It may also interest the general public to note that, the provost a as we speak now take FLEHI, ( GSE 124) despite her tight schedule, whenever she wants to round off lecture for the day ‘ continue don’t stop, we want more, rents air by the students.
12 Appointment process of the newly appointed Management officers to the best of our knowledge followed due process, as it was done in the best interest of the college community.
In the final analysis, on our honour, we will like the entire world to know that the provost did not forge any of her educational certificates and professional qualification
She possed B.Sc ( Hons) HED, UNN and MSC. social Hon (Health Option) LAUTECH among professional qualification.
Her previous administrative experiences and acumen has positioned her as “a square peg in a square hole” making her a functional administrator elevating the college to an enviable higher capacity.
