We are happy to announce to the general public the commencement of our countdown (112 days) to the completion of the construction of the GYB Ultramodern General Hospital Badoko, in Ajaokuta LGA. Work commenced at the site today having secured an approval,acquired the site and completed necessary procurement processes. The work started with the clearance of allocated plots of land.
Following the approval, His Excellency Governor Yahaya Bello has funded the project account with all the required sum to take it to full completion with furnishing and equipment.
We hereby use this opoortunity to appreciate His Excellency for his passion for the development of Kogi State, especially the Health Sector. We wish to specially express our profound appreciation to the Health Friendly Governor to have considered Ajaokuta worthy of such a laudable project. There is no doubt that the Hospital on completion will serve as a big win for the Governor, State Government and the people as it will serve the great people of Eganyi and its environs. The Hospital on completion will be an Ultramodern health facility in terms of infrastructure, equipment and deployment of manpower.
We also wish to use this medium to calm our people down and encourage them to be patient as so many developments have been attracted to Ajaokuta and all these will manifest in due course. At the moment the construction of the main connecting roads in Ajaokuta is about to commence. The people of Ajaokuta are implored to continue to pray for the success of this administration as they stand to gain a lot, gains they have never witnessed since the History of the State.
I also wish to thank our Traditional rulers who have worked with us tirelessly to ensure the Hospital is sited in the most befitting location in the Local Government Area. Our teaming supporters and peace loving youths of Ajaokuta LGA who turned out en masse to support the project aren’t left out. We appreciate their continous unrelenting support and do assure them that ensuring they get quality Healthcare service that is accessible and affordable remains out utmosy priority.
