Orientation Alliance, has called on the Executive Governor of Kogi State His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello to kindly retain the service of Mrs Victoria Olushola Jagboro for a second term in office as the Provost, College of Education (Technical), Kabba.

Emmanuel Ayo (Esq) who led the team on an independent secret assessment tour to the institution, revealed that the institution under the watch of Mrs Jagboro is experiencing massive projects; completed and ongoing respectively.
According to the leader of the team, from the independent assessment tour, the team discovered the following buildings at the permanent site that according to the Provost will be completed in next one month;
350 Seater Auditorium, A block of four classroom with seventy five seats each, A block of Staff Offices, ICT Center with fifty six computer sets and complete Internet service with E-library facilities, Home Economic Lab, Business Education Lab.
Part of the completed projects currently in use include a two thousand three hundred seater Hall, Student Dignity Project of Sixteen room laboratory with a borehole and overhead tank.
In addition, the temporary site has the following; A library extension built by State Government and equipped by Tetfund, a two thousand two hundred and fifty seater Computer Based Test Center fully equipped and ready for JAMB Examinations.
Also, the institution owns a functioning fish pond where it generates meagre revenue to sustain its daily financial runnings.
The reign of Mrs Jagboro as the Provost of the institution has obviously translate the dreams of the State as regard the institution into manifestation for within this period, the institution has recorded more in terms of Infrastructural development than ever before. This is no doubt a reflection of zeal and commitments to service and competence as practiced by the Provost.
Consequent upon the findings of the team; Orientation Alliance, Emmanuel Ayo noted that it becomes necessary to make clear recommendations and appeal to His Excellency who reserves the power to make appointment, that he retains the service of Mrs Victoria Olushola Jagboro for a second tenure in office as the Provost of the college.
According to him, the need for this is not far from the already existing fact that the Provost has over time established a fruitful relationship with Tetfund which has enabled a successful lobby and facilitations of gigantic projects for the institution. A retainment of her will no doubt further attract Positivity in terms of fulfilling the dream of the State with respect to the purpose for the establishment of the institution which among other reasons include and is not Limited to provision of quality and standard infrastructures for sound academic activities.
In addition, Emmanuel Ayo on behalf of the team, appealed to the Honorable Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology Honorable Wemimo Jones to kindly use his good office to declare the permanent site of the institution as fit and proper for immediate use.
