The New direction Government is known globally for it’s firm grip of the security Architecture of the state and zero tolerance for crime.
Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello has consistently invested heavily in the area of Security and this was once again displayed in the aftermath of the Isanlu bank robbery that led to the killing of 8 Police officers and 3 civilians.
Since the ugly incident, these are government’s Actions so far.
*1. Re-Enforcement of the security Architecture of Yagba east by posting of heavily armed men of the Nigerian Police to yagba East* .
*2. An high powered government delegation led by his Excellency, Chief Edward Onoja the deputy governor of Kogi state, the secretary to the state government and several government functionaries of Kogi West extraction paid a condolence visit to the Yagba East traditional council and by extension the Isanlu community* .
*3. His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello Released the Sum of #10Million Naira to be shared Amongst the families of the deceased police officers and civilians involved* .
*4. His Excellency immediately released Adequate funds for the commencement of renovation works and upgrading of the police Station earlier destroyed by the rampaging robbers.the Police station is under serious renovations and is at 99% completion stage* .
*5. Regular patrol of crime prone areas by a combined team of Security personels on a daily basis.*
These are clear indications that the government of Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello has made tremendous progress in the areas of security across board.
