According to WHO and even our very own NCDC, one of the factors responsible for delays in recovery from the coronavirus is weak immune system. This can be as a result of age, lifestyle and underlying illnesses.
In fact, records has it that most of the people who have died through Covid-19 infection were people who had other serious health issues such as diabetes, hypertension and the rest.
Now, according to the medical history of our revered Kabba Imam before he was ‘ceremoniously’ declared Covid-19 positive by NCDC, Alfa’s history showed that he had diabetes and hypertension, not to mention that he is aged. These are three factors that are very definitive in predicting the prognosis of a covid-19 patient.
In other words, people in these categories are not known to recover so fast.
I am not saying that such people can’t recover o, but judging with what NCDC have made us to understand, this set of people most often requires even the aid of ventilators to survive. Unless we are not talking about the same Coro that you and i know.
For the much celebrated Imam to recover just 9 days after, this must be one of the many miracles of Allah. (Allahu Akbar).

This has gone a long way to vindicate Kogi State Government’s stance on this issue.
