The Honourable commissioner of Finance, Budget and Economic planning of Kogi state,who doubles as an illustrious son of Isanlu land has expressed deep sadness and utter grief about the robbery attack on a bank and police station in isanlu that claims human lives.

In a press released through his media aide to commiserate with the victims families and isanlu land as whole, said he’s heart broken and pained with the numerous lives lost, police men on the line duty and passerby civilians, to the dastardly and horrific attack by the robbers.No doubt, this ugly incidence will go down in history as a dark day for isanlu land because it’s shocking and paradoxical to the peaceful coexistence we long practice and enjoy as a people. Asiwaju notes that the era of security instability and threats that shapes the pre-GYB administration will not be allowed to rear it ugly heads. The government of Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello cherish and holds profoundly the protection of lives and property of kogites,therefore, the belt of security and intelligence will be fasten to avoid the reoccurence of this heinous act.

He further calls upon the security agencies to immediately swing into purposeful action that will only not see the perpetrators apprehended but brought to book to face the wrath of our laws. Asiwaju also enjoined the populace to help with vital informations that will lead to the arrest of the criminals. “We will make sure our commitment to make Kogi crime and criminality free is reinforced as we bring the culprit of today’s attack to halt”.

“Let me condole with families of the lost ones,especially the Nigerian police force and the entire isanlu community on this tragic event. Prays the souls of the dead rest in peace. God Almighty will grant the families the fortitude to bear this painful lost,saying the land shall be healed of such cruel incidence”.  Amin
