Engr. Folorunsho Olafemi felicitates with Muslim faithfuls as he urged them to embrace moderate celebrations as they mark the end of the long Ramadan fasting and prayers for this year.
In his Eid-Mubarak message made available to the press, he congratulated the Muslims and admonished them to continue on the path of spirituality and peaceful coexistence.
He said the occasion is a very remarkable one for Muslims around the world as they end their one month abstinence from worldly pleasures.
“By the completion of the Ramadan period, it is expected that Muslim faithfuls must have had deep reflections on spirituality, arms giving, total repentance and other demands of the faith they profess. Therefore, exhibiting the true teachings of Prophet Muhammed (SAW), becomes inevitable”.
“I join Muslim brothers and sisters around the world to felicitate on the celebration of this years’ Eid-Mubarak praying that Almighty Allah; the ever merciful and gracious, grants us our heart desires”.
Engr. Olafemi further enjoined that amidst this celebration, social distancing and other precautionary measures against the spread of the Corona Virus pandemic should still be strictly maintained. We should also remember to pray for our healthcare workers and COVID-19 patients who have loved ones to be at home with at this moment of celebration.
