Lagos NIP Chairman comrade Afolabi calls on Government to recognize the efforts of health workers in tackling COVID 19
In a bid to fight to stand still this deadly Corona virus ravaging our world, nobody in the first responders is insignificant. Hospitals cannot operate in a filthy and unhygienic and untidy condition. For the record, the National Interest Party (NIP) recognises all the efforts of the responders, including the
Drivers of ambulance, Lab technician, janitors, Security guards, Facility managers, Pharmacist and all other auxiliary services rendered.
Comr. Afolabi Babatunde, the Lagos State Chairman of National Interest Party deeply regret that you have not been duly acknowledged in the past. He called on the government and all authorities concerned to ensure that all hardship and hazard allowances are duly and promptly paid.
We must all recognise that Everyone working in one way or the other to stop the spread of Corona virus is a hero. From the hospital cleaners, the shop keepers, the postal workers, all made the lockdown possible, from the garbage collectors to the grocery and restaurants crew to security personnel to the law enforcers to the service maintenance of medical facilities to nurses, interns residents and doctors and the rest of those worldwide who make life easier for those who stay at home, you are all front liners and heroes one way or the other who deserve appreciation and a big thank you.
A big salute to you and your families.
To those of us who merely remain uncomfortable and bored at home, let’s be thankful and be proactive. One of the best way to support these effort is to obey all government restricts and maintain common hygiene while staying at home. This time shall pass and we shall all toast to a good life without virus.
Signed;
*Comr. Afolabi Babatunde Bouazizi*
*Lagos State Chairman of National Interest Party (NIP) and the Welfare and Organizing Secretary of Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC) Lagos State.*
