Attention of the SSA Security in Charge of Yagba West Local Government has been drawn to the rumor making the rounds that Yagba West may have seen an index case of COVID’19.
This is not true.
The case being erroneously suspected is that of prostrate cancer patient. It is instructive to note that health officials have ruled out COVID’19.
Members of the public are hereby advised to remain calm and be mindful of unverified reports.
Purveyors of unverified and/or fake news are advised to desist as it can endanger our society.
