PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT.
The Public Complaints Commission has received numerous complaints through our various social media platforms by citizens particularly traders who feel aggrieved over government decision to lock down trading and other activities in Kogi State ciitng it’s concomitant effects on the poor masses.
The Public Complaints Commission in support of government directive through this medium, appeal to the good people of Kogi State to sacrifice a little and enjoy forever.
Government’s primary constitutional responsibility to citizens is the protection of life and property. We are totally in support of government decision which is in the interest of every Kogite and residents, while urging the Edward Onoja committee set up by Governor Yaya Bello to expedite action on the establishment of testing and isolation centres in the three geo-political zones and the state capital without further delay.
Citizens are hereby enjoined to please obey the directives and stay safe because the dreaded CORONA VIRUS-19 global pandemic is a respecter of nobody irrespective of social status as government at all levels shall continue to monitor the situation and review the directives accordingly.
