Igalamela-Odolu: Security Aide Clampdown On Alleged Assassins Who Killed 2 In Okekwu Village
The SSA to the governor on Security matters Igalamela/Odolu LGA Hon. Onoja James Omachonu alongside other security operatives had swung into action and had apprehended five alleged assassins that were said to had killed two people in Okekwu Village in Igalamela-Odolu local government, recently.
The five man gang who claimed to all hailed from Dekina local government area of the state, according to the security aide, said they were caught with live ammunitions and some illicit drugs and that they are already in police net, making confessional statements.
“The government of Yahaya Bello do not condone any threat to lives and security of the people. We are replicating his efforts at the grassroot here. By the special grace of God we will fish out all bad eggs who are out to destroy our local government and they will face the full wrath of the law”, the SSA added.
He assured the people of the local government of government’s proactive measures in combating crimes and equally urged them to maintain the stay at home directives already in place.
