Kogi State Covid-19 Newsflash
Monday March 30, 2020.
We are happy to announce that the United Bank for Africa has donated 28.5 million naira towards the state’s efforts against the spread of the deadly virus.
The donation was received on behalf of the State Government by the Deputy Governor and the Chairman of the Kogi Covid-19 Squadron Committee, His Excellency Chief Edward Onoja.
He thanked UBA for supporting the State Government at this trying period, urging other corporate organizations to emulate the good gesture of UBA.
The presentation ceremony was witnessed by top government officials and management staff of the UBA.
The Deputy Governor of the State, His Excellency Chief Edward Onoja who is the Chairman of the Kogi COVID-19 Squadron Committee received the cheque on behalf of the State Government. We thank the UBA for supporting the Kogi people and call on other individuals and organizations to come to our aid. Together, we shall defeat the virus.
