COVID-19; Stay Safe,Keep Safe, APC National Woman Leader Calls For Compliance Of All
The National Woman Leader of All Progressives Congress, APC Hajia Salamatu Baiwa Umar-Eluma has canvassed for total submission to the safety measures,so as to avoid the spread of the pandemic disease.
In a video broadcast message to all Nigerians,Mrs Umar-Eluma enjoined all and sundry to recuse themselves from any untoward disposition, that may pose great hygienic danger to all of us.
She advised on the importance of strict adherence to preventive measures to preclude wide spread,saying our safety depends on our decisions to comply with the regulations
“In this period of the viral pandemic COVID19, it is very important we adhere to the preventive measures that will curb the spread. As such, we are only as safe as those who choose to comply.”
The APC National Woman Leader warned that the scourge does not know race,creed or religion,as well as respecter of class,age or health status
“Remember we are all in this together. COVID19 is no respecter of class, age or health status.”
She reminded all Nigerians to imbibe the basic hygienes to staying safe,staying distance,staying in self isolation,washing of hands regularly and constantly with soap and clean water,avoid crowded environment both in the worship areas, including frequent hand gesticulation on the face and mouth.
Hajia Baiwa said all hands must be on deck to carry out advocacy in the neighborhood, communities and areas on the preventive measures being adopted against the spread of the killer diseases.
She urged Nigerians to join in prayers with spiritual leaders for God’s protection and lasting solutions.
“May God almighty protect us all. God bless Nigeria.”
